    MAJOR FUNCTION:

    To increase market penetration in assigned geographical territory within accordance of company marketing strategies.

    COMPETENCIES:
    1. Sources, evaluates and recommends viable distributors, wholesalers, and manufacturer representatives to market products in assigned territory.
    2. Trains and provides support to distributor/wholesalers/manufacturer representatives to establish effective network.
    3. Maintains close relationships with distributor/wholesaler/manufacturer representatives network to determine competitive sales trends, competitor activities and competitor pricing.
    4. Develops leads for medium to large construction projects and pursue through engineering, architectural, general contractors, etc. to quote job. Follows up on quotes to obtain orders.

    6. Investigates customer complaints of defective product or unsatisfactory service and recommend appropriate action necessary to resolve complaints; Follows complaints to satisfactory conclusion between customer and company.
    7. Ensures that all documentation and procedures are maintained in regards to ISO policies relating to Environment Management System and Quality Management System.
    8. Maintains up-to-date information concerning sales prices, availability of product, production schedules, profit contribution, sales policies, sales trends, and status of current orders to meet marketing objectives and assure the company satisfies customer requirements to greatest practical extent.
    9. Reports any information as to a change in the financial status of customers.
    10. Maintains memberships and participation in association and affiliated industry groups.
    11. Shares in the sales and goals for assigned geographical area.
    12. Maintains daily contact with distributors/wholesalers/manufacturer representatives of products as well as engineering firms, architects, general contractors, etc.

    MAJOR FUNCTION:

    This position provides a variety of administrative tasks supporting the Sales Dept that is in addition to maintenance of account contracts, plant tours, product and lead time bulletin creation.

    COMPETENCIES:
    1. Assists with all Sales Bulletin requirements, which may include bulletin creation and projects.
    2. Process and coordinate all plant tours.
    3. Plant Tours - processes applications, obtains approvals, monitors the tour calendar.
    4. Coordinates, creates, and distributes the bi-weekly Lead Time Guide Update.
    5. Plant Tours - coordinates arrangements for hotel, air, ground transportation planning, meals, gift bag assembly and supplies.
    6. Plant Tours - coordinates conference room reservations and set up, training requirements, maintenance and prep of all tour equipment, and notification to all departments/locations involved.
    7. Assists with requests from executive leadership, which may include: coordinating transportation, meal planning, conference room reservations, and office supplies.
    8. File/Form Maintenance, to include but not limited to Sales Contact Lists, Maps, Sales Program forms, Manufacturer Rep Agreements and Addendums, Customer Master Purchasing Agreements (MAPs), Partner Rewards forms, and plant tour documents.
    9. General office & sales support, including but not limited to maintenance of office equipment and corresponding supplies and simultaneous projects.
    10. a working knowledge of TOTO USA product categories and models.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    (5) years minimum administrative and sales support experience. Intermediate level of MS Office Access, Excel Pivot tables, Word; and Entry level Salesforce.com and Publisher applications. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills, with exemplary attention to accuracy and details.

    Ideal candidates will be able to perform with the above requirements/conditions and have the following:

    • High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
    • Six months assembly or production related experience.
    • Basic mathematical and measurement skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and an understanding of fractions and decimals)
    • Ability to read and comprehend basic written instructions and procedures.
    • Must have mechanical capability.
