    MAJOR FUNCTION:

    Ensures the maximum profitability and growth of the company through the enhancement of the company brand by effectively directing marketing strategies, planning, and marketing communication.

    COMPETENCIES:

    1. Develops the short and long term branding forecasts and prepare the marketing plan, strategy, and implementation procedures.
    2. Directs the development and implementation of all advertising and promotional programs and materials for the company to include all forms of media relations.
    3. Determines and recommends marketing mix ingredients including regional and national advertising, promotional campaigns, trade shows, video production and cooperative programs with distributors to fulfill corporate goals.
    4. Directs the development, implementation and maintenance of all branding programs to include cooperation with customers and distributors.
    5. Directs the graphic design and interactive communications teams, to include brochures, graphics projects, photography, and other creative services, and manages all interactive projects (Websites, video, intranet and graphic assets) with team members.
    6. Oversees and participates in activities designed to keep the public informed and ensures that public relations efforts meet needs, objectives, and policies of the company.
    7. Directs the marketing research efforts related to competitors, new and existing products, potential and existing markets and other areas as needed.
    8. Directs development of market channels, pricing, and positioning strategies for all product lines.
    9. Oversees the qualitative and quantitative research, process mapping for data collection and analysis, competitive tracking, vertical market segmentation evaluation and analysis, and other related activities.
    10. Assists in establishing corporate marketing objectives and strategies in conjunction with senior staff members.
    11. Collaborates with Sales Planning, Manufacturing, Business Planning and other departments on new/improved product development to create effective and timely branding strategies.
    12. Supports and administers practices and procedures within company and mandated policies regarding safety, training, and general guidelines within TOTO.
    13. Ensures that all documentation and procedures are maintained in regards to ISO policies relating to Environment Management System and Quality Management System.
    14. Establishes and maintains appropriate communications internally and externally as appropriate.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    Degree in Marketing Communications field. At least (10) yrs of previous work experience in marketing planning, communications, medias relations and strategy for a small to midsize company. Must be highly proficient with equipment, systems, software and programs related to marketing and branding field.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field. At least 5 years of experience in a marketing communications field.     Ideal candidates will be able to perform with the above requirements/conditions and have the following:

    • High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
    • Six months assembly or production related experience.
    • Basic mathematical and measurement skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and an understanding of fractions and decimals)
    • Ability to read and comprehend basic written instructions and procedures.
    • Must have mechanical capability.
